Why we made it The brief "So much of trans stories are misrepresented and told for us, by people not part of our community. We wanted to take back the narrative, and let trans people tell their own stories." Over the past year we worked with the team at Trans Matters Worldwide to create a series of short documentaries about trans life in the UK. Every step (shooting, producing, organising, editing) was led by trans people. Not as subjects of a film, but as its authors. We hope this is the first season of many.
