Most patients reach their first prescription about three months after their first video consultation, provided their bloods and GP medical summary arrive without delay. 1 Diagnosis ### A signed diagnosis letter UK law requires a written diagnosis of gender dysphoria or gender incongruence from an HCPC-registered psychologist or GMC-registered psychiatrist. We can recommend specialists if you don't have one yet. 2 Video consultation ### A 45-minute remote call Once your diagnosis is verified, you book a video consultation (typical wait 4-8 weeks). No bloods required at this stage. 3 Bloods & paperwork ### 4-6 weeks of prep Between calls you arrange the baseline blood panel, request a medical summary from your GP, and complete the consent forms. The faster you submit, the faster the next step. 4 In-clinic appointment ### First prescription, same day Your first appointment is always in person, in London, Stafford, or Exeter. We check blood pressure, do an in-body analysis, review bloods and history, sign consent, and if everything is safe, issue your first prescription that day.
