Existing Patients FAQ's
We typically send appointment letters 4 weeks after your initial face-to-face appointment.
This can be delayed if you attend your initial face-to-face appointment without full blood test results or a medical summary.
All appointment letters are emailed to both patients and their General Practice.
We encrypt all our attachments using a system called SendSafely to ensure your patient data is secure.
Please download your appointment letter upon receiving it, as this has information regarding your blood tests and the date your next appointment is due.
To access files sent via SendSafely please see the following guide: How-to-Receive-an-Item-Using-SendSafely
Patients are CC’ed into all letter correspondence with their GP regarding Appointment Letters and Shared Care agreements.
If your GP is reporting that they have yet to or are unable to access any letters, we recommend the following steps:
- Bring a printed copy of your letter to the practice reception and ask for a staff member to sign a copy to confirm that it has been received.
- Email us to request that we resend your letter. Following that chase your GP to confirm receipt.
