Requirements
- Age – Patients must be 18 or over to begin care with The Gender Hormone Clinic.
- Residency – Unfortunately, we are unable to see patients residing outside the UK. This limitation arises from the fact that our prescriptions are not valid for use in other countries following the regulatory changes that occurred after our exit from the European Union.
- Diagnosis – Patients must have a diagnosis of gender dysphoria/incongruence from a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist.
Diagnosis
To begin care with our clinic, you’ll require a diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria/ Incongruence.
It is important your diagnosis or referral is carried out by a registered Psychologist or Psychiatrist in the country in which you were residing at the time of diagnosis. To submit a diagnosis for review by our clinical team, we require the clinician’s contact information. This is so we can validate the credentials of the clinician.
