Pay-as-you-go & insurance.
For patients claiming through private medical insurance, billed per service rather than on the monthly plan. All the same clinical care, invoiced individually.
Pay-as-you-go isn’t offered as a general option
It’s available only if you’re paying through private medical insurance, or you’re already enrolled on pay-as-you-go with us. If neither applies to you, your care is billed on the monthly payment plan, which is simpler and almost always cheaper.
Who it’s for
Insurance, or per-service billing.
Patients on a rolling monthly plan can’t claim per-service through insurers, so if you’re using private medical insurance, pay-as-you-go is the right path.
We also keep existing pay-as-you-go patients on it if that’s how they started with us. Otherwise, the monthly plan includes all your appointments, prescriptions and clinic letters for less.
Always check directly with your insurer what’s covered before booking. Medication is rarely included in cover.
Per-service pricing
Each service, invoiced separately.
Initial consultation
In-clinic appointment with first prescription if cleared
Follow-up appointment
6- or 12-month review with your clinician
Earlier appointment (urgent)
Booked outside the standard review schedule
Private prescription
Per item dispensed
Travel / non-routine letter
Surgical clearance, clinic confirmation, etc.
Phone or video call outside an appointment
Add £30 if a follow-up letter is needed
Each pay-as-you-go service is invoiced after it’s delivered. Patients claiming via insurance must remain on pay-as-you-go, because the monthly plan can’t be invoiced per session for insurers.
How insurance works
Pay upfront, then claim it back.
- You pay us upfront (a £400 deposit or the full fee) via a secure payment link.
- We send you an itemised invoice for each service.
- You claim reimbursement from your insurer directly. Medication is rarely covered, so check your policy first.
Switching to the monthly plan
Many people move across once they’re settled.
There’s a one-off £175 switch fee (a discounted follow-up plus your first plan payment), set up when you book a follow-up. The monthly plan and pay-as-you-go can’t be combined; you’re on one or the other.
